1. Preparation（only for the first time）

| Install [Pro-Server EX] and [Pro-Studio EX] |

| Ethernet cable connection between devices and network settings of PC and GP |
| Connect PC and GP by Ethernet cable since a LAN Hub is used in this time. Decide IP address between each Devices, and creat network systems.

2. Starting the Software

Run the Software consists the syatem for writing/reading the data of GP and Device/PLCs. In this time, you can set up the Networl SEtting of the Device/PLC and Network Project File Creation.
you can use On-line Up Date Function when PC was run on network connection.

3. Create the network project file

| Register Node |
To use "Pro-Server EX", you must first register PC or GP connected on the Network. as entry nodes. You set the node name, communication like IP adrdesss, and Device/PLC type as registration information.

| Register Symbols |
A symbol is a "Variable" to control all data at once such as device address and data type, etc. and "Pro-Server EX" reads and write each device data through the registered symbol.

| Trigger Condition Setting |
| "Pro-Server EX" perfoms many operations such as data transfer and ACTION at various timings and cycles. This timing or cycle is called a "Trigger condition".
You can set multiple "Trigger conditions" at one time,set new conditions and use them in combination with the existing ones.

| Action (function) Setting |
| "Pro-Server EX" perform many operations used Application-soft such as creating "Microsoft® Excel® fileds", "Microsoft® Access® Data" basese off cause connect Device/PLC.
These operations such as used Application-soft in PC is called "ACTION" on "Pro-Server EX". |

4. Save the Network Project

| When you finish the settings of the entry node(s), symbol(s) and function(s), save these set data as a "Network Project File".
"Pro-Server EX" reads (or order) this network project file, and then executes each ACTION.
Therefore, it is required to save and reload the data specified on "Pro-Studio EX" as a network project file.
