Setup Example |

1. |
Install the Mouse Emulation software |
|
Download the Mouse Emulation software (UPDD_30846P.EXE) from Digital Electronics Corporation's home page and install it on your PC. |
|

2. |
Configure [Video Module/DVI Unit] (System Settings Window) |
|
Open [Video Module/DVI Unit] from the System Settings window and select the [Emulate Touch Output] tab.
Check on the [Emulate Touch Output] box and setup the communication.

Please match the communication settings of [Emulate Touch Output] to those of the [Mouse Emulation software] which you have installed on your PC.

Configure [Video Module/DVI Unit Window Settings] (Common Settings Window) |
|
Select [Video Module/DVI Unit Window Settings] from the Common Settings window and click the [New] icon.
|
|
The [New/Open - Video Module or DVI Unit Window] dialog box will appear. Specify [New], [Number] and [Comment], and then click the [New] button. |
|
Double-click the screen, and the [Video Module/DVI Unit Window Settings] dialog box will appear. Set the channel to [RGB(IN)], check [Emulate Touch], and then click [OK]. |

Configure [Video Module/DVI Display] (part) |
|
Open a base screen to display the PC screen and place a [Video Module/DVI Display]. |
|
Double-click the placed [Video Module/DVI Display] and select the [Video Module/DVI Unit Window] which you set up earlier.
|
|
Click [OK] to finish the screen settings.
|

5. |
Set the LS Area |
|
To output the touch information on an RGB input screen through the COM port, output authorization is required. Write "1" in the device address LS9230 to enable this feature. The output touch information will be written in LS9231 to LS9233.
