Pro-face, the global leader of Human Machine Interface (HMI) and factory data communication solutions, has announced that the industrial computer PS4000 series will be launched on January 10, 2012.

The PS4000 series will be available on a built-to-order basis, offering a range of options (panel/built-in types, number of expansion slots, OS, CPU, storage media, etc.) to meet the needs of our customers.

This category was developed with the aim of accommodating the needs for reliability and easier maintenance at production sites of key industrial products such as liquid crystals, semiconductors, batteries, and LEDs, as well as chemical plants and other industrial plants for oil, gas, and water treatment. The PS4000 series not only realizes stable operation by virtue of its energy-saving and disk-free features and the adoption of cartridge-type storage media, but it also supports the latest interfaces including Gigabit Ethernet, PCI Express, and the latest Windows® 7 OS.

1. Panel types (19" or 15") and a built-in type are available.
2. Embedded-type 15" panel model accomplishes a reduction in power consumption by 60% (compared to our previous 15" model).
3. Built-to-order for optimal combinations that meet all customer performance needs.
4. Reduced replacement hassles during maintenance through the adoption of cartridge-type storage media and a replaceable fan kit.
5. Planned to be compliant with CE, UL/cUL, KC, C-Tick, GOST-R, and other international safety standards.
   Certification for GL (marine vessel standards) is expected in the near future.
