When using GLC2400 or 2600,[Rev.*-None or 1] or [Rev.-2 or above] is shown.
 

When setting [GP type] as GLC2400 or GLC2600 at GP-PRO/PB3 C-Package03, [Rev.*-None or 1] or [Rev.-2 or above] pulldown menu is shown. This means the revision of the GLC hardware. The supported features of each revision differs.

 
How to Read the Code

The revision code can be easily found using the GLCunit’s rear face identification label or revision sticker. In the area titled “REV”, the code is indicated by asterisks (*) or marked with a marker pen.
In the example below, asterisks (*) are placed at positions “D”, “1”, and “2”, which indicates the revision version as “D-2”.

Revision Categories
 
[Rev.*-None or 1]
The revision code is not used, or is “1”.
[Rev.-2 or above]
The revision code is "2" or higher.
   
The difference between [Rev.*-None or 1] and [Rev.-2 or above]
 
 
Instruction

[Rev.-2 or above] supports a SCL instruction (scaling feature) or function control instructions. >>Refer

Variable

The variable storage memory in GLC of [Rev.-2 or above] is 64K byte.You can set more variables than [Rev.*-None or 1].([Rev.*-None or 1] is 32K byte.)
