Open [Run] from Window's start menu and execute the following file. |

C:\Proface\EWFSettingTool\EWFSettingTool.exe |

The EWF Setting Tool window will appear. The Current setting shows the current status of EWF on top of the window. If the status is [EWF Enable], you cannot write data in a CF card. |

Select [EWF Disable] from the pull-down menu and click [OK]. Windows® XP Embedded will restart automatically. |

After Windows® restarts, you can write data in a CF card. |

After finishing arbitrary process, enable the EWF (Write Filter) by following the procedures below.

Execute "C:\Proface\EWFSettingTool\EWFSettingTool.exe". Select [EWF Enable] from the pull-down menu and click [OK]. Windows® XP Embedded will restart automatically and after restarting, you cannot write new data in the CF card so that you can prevent from updating or deleting data without intention . However, the data updated during [EWF Disable] is reflected.
