If a serious error occurs when starting up Windows or in operation, messages on a blue screen will appear and any operation will not be accepted at all.
This is an error display screen called Blue Screen of Death (also called a stop error or BSoD). Displayed messages and numbers vary depending on the error. This error may occur in either Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows XP.

When the Blue Screen of Death displays, check and take a note of the messages in the red circles. These will help you find the cause. |
