 What kind of data format of the movie file can be converted by Movie Converter?

Whether you can convert a movie file by Movie Converter or not is depending on the PC that you will convert it with. A codec may be installed in the video/audio player such as Windows(R) Media Player by default, depending on the codec. You can convert the file from the following movie file format to the SDX format if Movie Converter has been installed to the environment like as right after purchase of the PC. If you cannot convert the movie file into SDX format, set a codec in. It may enable you to convert the file*.

NOTE
To convert a movie file, first of all, it is necessary that a codec of the movie file, which will be converted on the PC, has been installed. Digital Electronics Corporation, or Pro-face has confirmed, with Ulead VideoStudio 9 installed, that a file can be converted from the following movie file format to the SDX format.

* You cannot convert a file if the data format is not the file format nor the codec which is supported by DirectX 9.0.
