The error message [Cannot read the source Device/PLC file.] is displayed.

Error Description

The error message [Cannot read the source Device/PLC file.] is displayed.

Cause

This error message appears if you convert a PRW file in which you selected a device/PLC that GP-Pro EX does not support.

Solution

Open the PRW file in GP-PRO/PB3 and change the PLC driver to one that GP-Pro EX supports.

→	Verify that all device addresses in your old project are supported by the new driver. If they are not, change them to supported addresses before converting your project.

Convert your .prw file to .prx file with the Project Converter.
