 About Function Expansion Memory

The Function Expansion Memory is an optional memory board used to expand the number of alarm messages and the number of texts in the Text Table.
Each number will be expanded as follows.

Loading this memory enables you to manage large amounts of data with a small number of GP units even if there are multiple PLCs in a large-scaled production system.

Setup Procedure
This section explains how to set up GP-Pro EX to use the Function Expansion Memory.
 

1.


In the [System Settings] window of the Work Space, select [Display Unit].

Select the [Extended Settings] tab and set the [Function Expansion Memory] to "8M".
