Note:
- To use this update, the previous version of the system monitor must be installed.
- This file is only for PS-370*A (EdenTM model).
(Model: PS3700A-T41-ASU-E66, PS3701A-T41-DU-E66)
Please do not use it for other models such as PS-3700A (Pentium®4 model).
- If the System Monitor has already been registered in the start-up menu, the error message of a double start is displayed at OS start. In that case, please delete System Monitor registered in the start-up menu.

Description Contains the RAS/System Monitor update.
Update Description
1. The following issues were corrected:
 
- Increases in memory usage of the System Monitor increases.
- The processing of System Monitor stopped while displaying a message of remote RAS communication error.
- When there were two or more network devices, it becomes Auto even if the first device was selected by setting of remote RAS.
- When starting System Monitor Propenty again, error action of WDT could be set even if Reset was enabled.
2. Restrictions
 
- Administrator Authentication is required for executing SMART Monitoring.
- Only hard disks connected with IDE can be monitored by SMART.
The status of a hard disk connected with USB or SCSI cannot be monitored.
- CF cards do not support SMART and therefore the status of CF cards cannot be monitored.
- Proper function of SMART Monitoring can not be guaranteed for HDD's from any manufacturer other than Digital.
4. This update will make the version of PSA_SMON.EXE 1.03 --> 1.04.
If the version of PSA_SMON.EXE is 1.04 or higher, it is not necessary to execute this update.
The file exists in C:\Proface\Sysmon folder.
Version information can be checked by referring to version in file properties.

Installation (This file is self-extracting.)
Windows®2000, Windows®XP
1. Downloading "PS370xAE66_SysmonUpdate20051206.exe"
Click on "PS370xAE66_SysmonUpdate20051206.exe"and download the data to the desired folder on your PC. *

* If the update module cannot be downloaded to the PS-370*A unit, please download temporarily to the another PC, and copy the module to the PS-370*A unit where you want to install the module.
2. Exit System Monitor if it is running.
3. Double-click the downloaded file "PS370xAE66_SysmonUpdate20051206.exe".
4. Update starts automatically.
5. Reboot the system after installation.
 

Windows®XP Embedded
1. Downloading "PS370xAE66_SysmonUpdate20051206.exe" Click on "PS370xAE66_SysmonUpdate20051206.exe"and download the data to the desired folder on your PC.
* If the update module cannot be downloaded to the PS-370*A unit, please download temporarily to the another PC, and copy the module to the PS-370*A unit where you want to install the module.
2. Set EWF to "Disable" if it is set to "Enable", and restart your system.
3. Exit System Monitor if it is running.
4. Double-click the downloaded file "PS370xAE66_SysmonUpdate20051206.exe".
5. Update starts automatically.
6. After the completion of installation, EWF switched to "Enable" when needed, and restart your system.

[Mar.4, 2005]
1. The following settings were added:
 
- Hard Disk is monirored by Hard Disk SMART function.
- System Monitor is set to start automatically when OS starts.
