Installation (The downloaded file is self-extracting.) |

Prior to installing the driver,
close all your personal computer applications,
including any resident program such as virus
detection program, etc. |
| 2. |
Click on the above file name
to download the data to desired folder. |
| 3. |
After the download to your
PC is finished, double-click on the file's
icon to start the installer program. |
| 4. |
After the installer starts,
follow the instructions given on each screen.
The installer's default setup folder is for installing the driver to GP-PRO/PB
III for Windows. |

After installation, when using
Pro-Server with Pro-Studio, select [YOKOGAWA
FCN/FCJ Modbus 1:n] for the "PLC Type".
When using GP-PRO/PB III C-Package03, click
on the Device/PLC area's [other] selection
and select [YOKOGAWA FCN/FCJ ModbusRTU 1:n].
* When using the
driver, be sure to refer to the PLC Connection
Manual PDF (Shown above). Also, for general
information regarding PLC connection and
documentation conventions please refer to
your own Device/PLC Connection Manual. |
Important: |
When
using this protocol, be aware that the following
restrictions apply.
When using the GP-PRO/PB III C-Package03 printing or print preview features,
in the [Project Information] area's [GP Settings List], up to 24 nodes can be
printed for the [Mode Setting]'s [Modbus RTU Address].
Future versions of GP-PRO/PB III C-Package will provide compatibility with a
greater numbers of nodes. |
