Thank you very much for your continuous use of Pro-face products.
We have confirmed that the following symptom occurs in some models of PS4000 series.
The symptoms and corrective measures for this problem are indicated below.

Symptom descriptions
Despite fan threshold is not exceeded, fan error occurs infrequently on System Monitor.
Applicable combination of products
The followings are applicable products
*1 Except PS-4600 Series
*2 About Atom N270 model
In the case of that fan kit (optional) is installed.
*3 How to check the MTCX firmware version
Panel Computer Applicable MTCX firmware version：

*3 How to check the MTCX firmware version
- After power on, press [DEL key], and open BIOS Setup.
- Advanced -> Baseboard / Panel Features
Confirm the versions of MTCX PX32 and MTCX FPGA.
Measures
After download updated program (EXE file), please install update module according to the following procedure.
＜Installation＞
* After updated, it is not able to back to the original version.
-> To download update module MTCX Firmware (BIOS Update), click here.
* To download the module, free member registration for "Otasuke Pro!" is required. Click here to register.
＜Installation＞
- Download update module of MTCX firmware.
- After downloading, double-click on the downloaded exe file.
- The message “Do you want to update now?” shows on the window, and then click “yes”.
- DOS command prompt is activated, and installation starts automatically.
- After installation, the message “Press any key to continue..” is appeared on DOS command Prompt.
- After finishing the installation, once power off the unit manually, and the power on the unit.
(It is not updated by restart.)
