Pro-face, the global leader in Human Machine Interface (HMI) and factory data communication solutions, has announced plans to open its latest overseas office (Pro-face Indonesia) in the Indonesian capital Jakarta on January 6, 2014.
Since its inception in 1972, Pro-face has identified the expansion of its overseas operations as a priority policy. Since the establishment of Pro-face Korea Co., Ltd., in 1995 in Seoul, Korea, Pro-face has opened 21 sites in 7 countries across Asia and Oceania (4 sites in Korea, 7 sites in China, 3 sites in Taiwan, 1 site in Thailand, 1 site in Singapore, 4 sites in India, and 1 site in Australia). The establishment of Pro-face Indonesia marks Pro-face's 8th country in Asia and Oceania and its 22nd country worldwide.
With Indonesia's ongoing economic growth, demand for electrical products and automobiles is expanding rapidly, and local demand for related electronic components is also growing steadily. Going forward, this demand is expected to continue its expansion due to several factors including investment by a large number of companies, particularly manufacturers, from Japan and elsewhere.
Through the establishment of Pro-face Indonesia, Pro-face will commence full-scale sales operations targeting the Indonesian industrial automation market. At the same time, we will put systems in place to prepare ourselves for our role as a provider of product support, maintenance services, product seminars, and other engineering support services of the same quality that customers worldwide have come to expect of the Pro-face brand. Pro-face Indonesia has one Japanese employee, and will enhance local procurement and after-sales product support for Japanese firms with a presence in Indonesia and Indonesian firms.
Based on our corporate slogan, Pro-face for the best interface, Pro-face aims to develop products that act as the best interface and can be connected to industrial machinery in a variety of production worksites.
