Notice of 40th Anniversary and Unveiling of Commemorative Logo

Osaka, Japan - July 19, 2012 - Pro-face, the global leader of Human Machine Interface (HMI) and factory data communication solutions, is proud to announce that it will celebrate 40 years of operation on July 22, 2012.
Pro-face would like to thank its customers both in Japan and overseas who have helped it reach this milestone.

Founded in 1972, Pro-face started operations as a manufacturer and retailer of applied electronic devices. Since then the firm has continuously kept a step ahead of the industry with a string of revolutionary interface products, for example developing the world's first programmable display in 1989 and the world's first panel computer in 1991. Pro-face is deeply grateful to the many customers who have put their faith in its products. It is thanks to this support that the firm has been able to share the journey of the past 40 years with its various stakeholders and is still able to continue producing new products.

Going forward, Pro-face will continue to treasure the trust that the firm has earned over the past 40 years and looks forward to continuing the journey with its stakeholders. The firm has expressed its 40 years' experience and desire for future progress in a logo, setting itself the challenge of continuing to develop attractive and highly reliable interfaces based on innovative technologies and services while contributing to the development of the factory automation industry as a global interface specialist.

In advance of its 40th anniversary, Pro-face has been using a new corporate slogan "Pro-face for the best interface" since October 17, 2011. The new slogan reflects the firm's resolve to respond to customer requests in the best way possible.

The design of the firm's 40th anniversary commemorative logo incorporates two themes: "the accumulation of trust" created over the years, and "the development of a shared future". During the 40th anniversary period from July 2012 to July 2013, Pro-face plans a global roll out of the new logo alongside its new corporate slogan, "Pro-face for the best interface", which will be used in catalogs, marketing tools, websites, in-house publications, business cards, and other materials. With the new slogan and logo as vows to its stakeholders, Pro-face is united in contributing to a bright future for one and all through products, services, and support.
