New Stainless Steel Bezel PS4000 Series Industrial computer

Brief

Pro-face, the global leader of Human Machine Interface (HMI) and factory data communication solutions, today celebrated a company first with the release of the Stainless Steel Bezel PS4000 Series Industrial computer, which is compliant with international safety and hygiene standards applicable to machinery used for food processing, and pharmaceutical and chemical production. The new product will go on sale from June 25, 2012.

Featuring a stainless steel construction that provides high resistance to rust and oxidation, the PS4000 Series was developed in response to the need for an industrial computer capable of being used in equipment for food processing, pharmaceutical production, and similar applications where hygiene is important, that is also able to withstand applications involving chemicals, gases, and highly corrosive environments.
In a first for a Pro-face product, it is compliant with EN1672-2, the European standard for food processing machinery, and FDA 21 CFR 177.2006, the US standard for flat seals.

Based on our corporate slogan, Pro-face for the best interface, we aim to develop products that act as the best interface and can be connected to industrial machinery in a variety of production worksites.

Features

  1. Complies with international safety and hygiene standards for food processing machinery, and other applications.
    - European Standard: EN1672-2 (European standard for Food processing machinery)
    - US Food and Drug Administration certified: FDA 21 CFR 177.2006 (US standard regarding flat seals)
  2. Front bezel employs SUS304-grade stainless steel
  3. Built-to-order to allow the customer to select optimal configuration in terms of memory, storage, OS, etc.
  4. Complies with a variety of international standards and certifications including UL/cUL, GOST-R, C-tick, CE, and Class I Division 2. Certification for ATEX (Equipment and Protective systems intended for use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres) is planned in the near future.
  5. Complies with IP65 protective construction for protection against dust and water jets.
