When replacing the cable (RS-232C) used for GP2000/77R/70 series to GP3000 series,

	The connection system of GP2000/77R/70 series


	The connection system after the replacement to GP3000 series

	The connection system of GP3000 series and GP2000/77R series are same, so it is possible to replace into GP3000 series directly. About Communication setting, refer to device connection manual.

When replacing the hardware from GP2000/77R/70 series to GP3000 series, there are important notes shown below.

Supported Devices

For GP-Pro EX,the notation of word device differs

GP-Pro EX doesn't support RX7i series.

Warning message of [Project converter]

When the project file of GP-PRO/PB3 will be converted by [Project converter], these messages will show in following cases.

Warning message	Detail
The setting of "Destination IP Port No." has been changed to "18245".	If the setting of "Destination IP Port No." is selected No except 18245,this message will be shown. "Destination IP Port No." is fixed "18245".
The configuration of "(My) Port No." is set to "Auto".	If the project file of GP-PRO/PB3 is converted, the setting of "(My) Port No." will be changed to "Auto". "Auto" means that GP communicates PLC using a blank port of the network. So even if [Project converter] changes the setting of "Destination IP Port No." from port No of GP-PRO/PB3 to "Auto", you can communicate PLC with no problem. You don't have to change any settings of PLC file.
