This section describes the menu items that are displayed in the third page of the system menu.
Touch these menu items when monitoring the address or checking the operating status and instructions of the logic program.
[Address Monitor] is displayed on all GP3000 series models, but [Logic Monitor] displays only on models that can run logic programs. Touching [Logic Monitor] when logic is disabled will display the address monitor screen.
When a slave unit of Ethernet Multilink is used, the ladder monitor and device monitor are disabled.
Start monitoring the variables used in the logic. The name and current value of the variable can be checked. When the address format is used, the control address is monitored.

Start monitoring the entire logic program. The logic monitor checks the operating status and instruction layout.

You can read the PLC ladder program and monitor it on the display unit screen. You can monitor the ladder program online without stopping other functions.
To use the ladder monitor, you need the ladder monitor tool (sold separately) for your PLC. Refer to the ladder monitor operation manual in the ladder monitor CD-ROM.
You can monitor select devices on the defined device/PLC from the display unit. You can also change select address values from the display unit.
