
Important Notice for the customers who use SP5000 series (Open Box)
We have confirmed that the following symptom occurs on SP5000 series (Open Box).
We will report this issue as described below.

Symptom descriptions
If you disconnect the USB mini-B cable and then shut down Windows® on the SP5000 series (Open Box) after the SP5000 series (Open Box) communicates with the PC via the USB mini-B cable, a blue screen may appear on the SP5000 series (Open Box).

Measures
The permanent workaround is under investigation.
Even if the blue screen appears, the SP5000 series will not get damaged. Restart the SP5000 series (Open Box).
The measure is as follows;
When disconnecting the USB mini-B cable, follow the steps below.
1. Shut down Windows® on the SP5000 series (Open Box).
2. Check that the shutdown of Windows® is completed and the status LED on the rear side of the Open Box is OFF or the status LED on the screen’s side is ON in red. After that, disconnect the USB mini-B cable.
