Important notice to customers using communication devices such as T link etc., with I/O units used in Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. MICREX-SX series SIO and the MICREX-SX series Ethernet driver.

We have confirmed that the following issue occurs in GP-Pro EX and GP-PRO/PBIII C-Package.
A description and countermeasures for this problem are given below.

Symptom

When using the communication devices such as T link etc. that include an I/O unit is that used in Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. MICREX-SX and serial communications, the GP may not be able to access the device address (%IX, %QW etc.), of the I/O unit.

Applicable product combination

The issue can be observed when the following products (a programmable display unit and Screen Editor Software) are used in combination.
Applicable when the following products are used in combination.

Screen Editor and Logic Program Development Software “GP-PRO/PBIII C-Package”:

Applicable version : GP-PRO/PBIII for Windows (All Versions)

Measures

When using communication devices such as T-link, etc., together with the I/O unit, device address (%IX, %QX, %IW, %QW) of the I/O device cannot be used.
Please use an internal device (%MX, %MW) etc. and access the address of the I/O device by the ladder program on PLC (Read, write)
