4.2 Creating HMI Displays and Logic Programs

The following figure explains GP-Pro EX installation, startup, new screen creation, connection with device/PLC, and the workflow up to the start of creating screens and logic programs.

To convert GP-Pro/PBIII for Windows project files (*.prw) into GP-Pro EX Project files (*.prx), please see the following.
2.1 Compatibility with Pro-face Software

1. Install	Readme.txt (Install CD-ROM) If you do not enter the serial number and keycode during GP-Pro EX installation, you can run project files transfers to GP-4100 series display units only. To transfer projects to other types of display units, from the [Help] menu select [Key Code]. Enter the the serial number and key code in the dialog box.
