The following figure explains GP-Pro EX installation, startup, new screen creation, connection with device/PLC, and the workflow up to the start of creating screens and logic programs.

1. Install

  • If you do not enter the serial number and keycode during GP-Pro EX installation, you can run project files transfers to GP-4100 series display units only. To transfer projects to other types of display units, from the [Help] menu select [Key Code]. Enter the the serial number and key code in the dialog box.

2. Start the software and create a new project

Set the display unit and device/PLC type and the device/PLC communication environment.
