2.5.2 Creating HMI Displays and Logic Programs

The following figure explains GP-Pro EX installation, startup, new screen creation, connection with device/PLC, and the workflow up to the start of creating screens and logic programs.

1. Install GP-Pro EX

See the installation DVD-ROM's Readme.txt.

2. Start the software and create a new project

Set up the display unit model and device/PLC.

3. Confirm the device/PLC communication settings

Confirm and set up the device/PLC communication environment.
