New release of EZ Fingerprint Recognition Unit and EZ Illuminated Switch

Brief

Pro-face, the global leader of Human Machine Interface (HMI) and factory data communication solutions, announced that the EZ Fingerprint Recognition Unit and EZ Illuminated Switch will be launched on January 15, 2013. The new products connect to programmable HMI via a USB connection and provide functional enhancements to HMI without resorting to the use of special programs.

EZ Fingerprint Recognition Unit can improve security by providing fingerprint authentication. It saves users from having to enter their ID and password from the keyboard at the time of security authentication, hence improving security efficiently by avoiding the hassle of password management.

EZ Illuminated Switch can accommodate the need for hardware switches and light indicators in addition to touch panel operations. The displayable indicator colors and patterns can be specified via the software.

The EZ Fingerprint Recognition Unit and EZ Illuminated Switch were both developed in response to the need to easily improve the functionality of operating stations at production sites. Both products support round holes 22 mm in diameter and can be installed in place of switches and indicators.
Both products support HMI Screen Editor & Logic Programming Software GP-Pro EX Ver. 3.1 or later.
