Operation Settings (For Server)
- What is "Server name"?
- It's a name of each Server (a GP unit).
It's used to distinguish the Server you want to connect from the other Servers on the server list screen on the Client's side.
1. Be sure to set this item. Set it in one to 32 characters.
When you don't want to display a character, use one-byte space.
2. Usable characters are ASCII one-byte alphanumeric characters and the following symbols.
Usable symbols: ! “ % & ' ( ) * + , - . / : ; < = > ? _
Double-byte characters cannot be used.
3. When this item is blank, an error occurs at Error Check.
The following error message is displayed.
Error code: 1079
"Server name for Remote Viewer Settings? Pro-face Remote HMI is not set. Please set the server name."
