30.6.1 Procedure - Controlling I/O in LT and EX Modules

Settings for the EX modules can be specified as follows.

From the [System Settings] window, select [I/O Driver] to update the workspace and click the [External Driver] tab.
Click [Add Module] to display the [Module Details] dialog box. Specify the EX module type and click [OK].
The module-specific settings appear. For details about each, see the Settings Guide.
To add, change, and delete modules, click the module and one of the buttons shown below.

A limited number of units can be connected to an EX module. Please refer to the following for details.
30.6.4 Restrictions - LT and EX Module, Number of Connectable Modules
If the number of connected units exceeds the limit, the following dialog box will appear when you click the [Add Module] button.
