T.5.6 Image does not appear when using the Video Module

Does the picture appear in offline mode?

Cause

If the picture does not appear in offline mode, the VM unit may not be properly connected to the Display.

Solution

Use the following procedure to check if the display unit is receiving the picture.

M.11.2 Checking whether video signals are being received by the Display when video is not displayed

• When the picture displays in offline mode

Check the project settings as follows.

1. Check if the image unit display settings are correct
   28.2 Displaying Video Camera Output

2. Check if the image unit connected to the image unit is indirectly selecting a video screen that does not exist.

3. Check if operation is correct when specifying the Video Control Area with switches on the touch panel or on the connected device.

4. Check if operation is correct when specifying the System Data Area with switches on the touch panel or on the connected device.

• When the picture does not display in offline mode

In offline mode, if the picture does not appear refer to the VM Unit's hardware manual and check the following.

1. Video module is attached correctly

2. All cables are connected

3. Cables are connected to correct channels

4. RGB IN and RGB OUT are not mistakenly connected

5. The video input device complies with the video module's input specifications
