Restrictions on Memory Loader

• You cannot use the memory loader feature with the following models.

• GP-Rear Module Series

• LT-Rear Module Series

• Models with the DC Power Supply Adapter for Box Module attached

• When using external storage, verify the restrictions identified below.
  5.6.3 Restrictions on External Storage Usage

• Transferring with the Memory Loader feature requires the following available space on the external storage.

• 100 MB or more
  SP5000 series
  GP4000 series (GP4100 series, GP-4201TM, and GP-4301TM require 64 MB or more)
  LT4000 series
  ST6000 series
  ET6000 series
  STM6000 series
  STC6000 series

• 64 MB or more: Other than the models above

• External storage devices require different "Memory Loader Tools" for startup. Create the respective tools.

• When using the Memory Loader to download the GP-Pro EX project to a display unit set up with a Pro-Server EX project file (*.npx), be aware that the .*npx file will be deleted. If you create an external device for project transfer by following the steps below, you can also transfer .npx files to another display unit.

• 1. Transfer the GP-Pro EX project file from the PC to the display unit.

  2. Transfer the Pro-Server EX project file (.npx) from the PC to the display unit.

  3. Start the memory loader tool on the display unit to begin upload operations. The display unit's project files are saved in the external storage device, along with the Pro-Server EX (.npx) project files.
     34.8.2 Transfer - Transferring Project Files from Display Unit to Computer (or to Another Display Unit)

  4. From the display unit, remove the external storage device and load it into a different display unit to download the project files.

• In the GP-3300 Series, the backup data (*.cml) created from the project file with [Revision] set to [Rev*-4 or later] in [Models], cannot be downloaded to a display unit if it is before Revision 4. However, AGP-3310T/3360T models can transfer project files regardless of revision.

• When Japanese standard fonts are deleted from GP-3200 and ST3000 Series models, the Memory Loader created in GP-Pro EX Version 2.10 or earlier cannot start up. To use the Memory Loader with projects where Japanese fonts are deleted, use GP-Pro EX version 2.20 or later.

• When using the Memory Loader feature on product version 05 or later of GP-4201TM, GP-4301TM, or GP-4000M (Rear Modular Type), use GP-Pro EX Ver.4.08.100 or later.

• The number of files and folders that can display in the Memory Loader Tool's [Select File] screen is around 50. However, the SP5000 series, GP4000 series, ST6000 series, ET6000 series, STM6000 series, and STC6000 series can display up to a total of 1,000 files and folders.
