GP-Viewer EX operation

Enable

Higher than the display unit level

Operations on GP-Viewer EX are reflected by the display unit. Note that only the displayed screen is the same, and that not all operations are synchronized. For example, for alarm display operations, the scroll position between the display unit and GP-Viewer EX may be different.

Enable

Lower than the display unit level

Remote display of the display unit screen. On screen change, an authentication screen displays. If authentication is successful, you can change screens from GP-Viewer EX. Successful authentication allows change screen operations with the connection, as well as write operations from GP-Viewer EX.

Disable

Higher than the display unit level

You can view the current screen on the display unit and change device address values, but you cannot initiate screen change operations. However, if a change in a device address value triggers the screen change operation, then the display unit will change screens, and the GP-Viewer EX screen will follow suit.

Disable

Lower than the display unit level

Remote display of the display unit screen. Operations are not allowed. Changing screens on the display unit also changes screens in GP-Viewer EX.

For maintenance purposes, you can remotely monitor the screen. No operations or changes are possible. Always displays the defined screen for daily monitoring.
