2.5.2 Creating HMI Displays and Logic Programs

The following figure explains GP-Pro EX installation, startup, new screen creation, connection with device/PLC, and the workflow up to the start of creating screens and logic programs.

For models that support logic, see the following. If you select a model that does not support logic, you can create the logic program but the program will not run on the display unit.
1.5 Supported Features

1. Install GP-Pro EX	See the Readme.txt in the installer.
2. Start the software and create a new project	Set up the display unit model and device/PLC. 3.2 Creating a Project - Start / Create Screen / Save / Exit
3. Confirm the device/PLC communication settings	Confirm and set up the device/PLC communication environment. See the "GP-Pro EX Device/PLC Connection Manual" and the following. 2.4 Device/PLC Communication 7.1 Settings Menu

7. Save the project	Upon saving, checks the project for errors. 3.2 Creating a Project - Start / Create Screen / Save / Exit
8. Test Projects	Confirm if there are any problems on your computer before you transfer. 33.1 Settings Menu
9. Transfer project to the display unit	Power up the display unit and transfer the screens. 34.1 Settings Menu
