Determine whether to run or stop the logic programs when the display unit is on.
Please refer to the Settings Guide for details.
5.4.5 System Settings [Display Unit] - [Logic] Settings Guide
You can configure the logic screen settings in offline mode.
For restrictions of logic action when the power is ON, refer to the following.
5.4.5 System Settings [Display Unit] - [Logic] Settings Guide
From the [Project] menu, point to [System Settings], click [Display Unit] and open the [Logic] tab.
From the [Logic] tab, in the [Run at Startup] area, select either the [Run] or [Stop] options as the [Logic Program Operation].
Select [Synchronous] in [External Equipment Operations] to synchronize communication with external devices when the power is ON.
Communication synchronization with external devices when powering up
External equipment operations when the power is ON are handled as follows.
When [External Equipment Operations] is set to [Synchronous], check whether communication synchronization is established.
When synchronization is selected, for [Logic Program Operation] select either the [RUN] or [STOP] option.
When synchronization is not selected, the logic program checks for synchronous communication to start. Logic will not start until synchronization is set.
When the [External Equipment Operations] is [Asynchronous], the logic program does not check whether communication synchronization has been set.
*Communication synchronization is checked only when the power is ON and the controller is reset.
While the power is ON, when [External Equipment Operations] is set to [Synchronous], it checks whether communication synchronization is established even when [Logic Program Operation] is set to [STOP].
*Synchronize only external addresses (external devices) used in the logic programs.
