For text bracketed by quotation marks, quotation marks are not recognized as part of the text string.
For example, "Alarm Message" --> Alarm Message
If quotation marks are to be recognized as text, place two quotation marks consecutively.
Example: "Alarm"" Message"-->Alarm" Message
The first and last (open and close) quotation marks used are for identifying the data as a text string. Within these, to display quotation marks in the text string, two consecutive quotation marks must be entered to be recognized as data.
Example: " "Alarm Message" "-->Alarm Message
"""Alarm Message"""-->"Alarm Message"
"Alarm "Message"-->Alarm Message
The end of each record is determined by a line break or the end of a file. If the line break is surrounded by quotations marks, the line break is recognized as text, not as the end of a record.
Example:"Alarm Message"<line break> -->line break is recognized as the end of the record.
Example:"Alarm message<line break>" -->line break is not recognized as the end of the record.
