Please refer to the following for models that support the XY Block Display Scatter Graph.
1.5 Supported Features
For Historical Trend Graphs, Data Block Display Graphs, XY Historical Scatter Graphs and XY Block Display Scatter Graphs, you can display up to 8 graphs on a single screen (including called screens and popup windows) at the same time.
For Historical Trend Graphs, Data Block Display Graphs, XY Historical Scatter Graphs and XY Block Display Scatter Graphs, you can display up to 40 channels on a single screen (including called screens and popup windows) at the same time. Any subsequent channels do not display.
The maximum number of channels that can be displayed on a single XY Block Display Scatter Graph is 10.
You can display up to 512 coordinates (number of data).
Coordinate points of the graph data are calculated as a value between 1 and 1,000. Even though values may be outside the display range, if the converted values are within range, they will display in the graph.
Do not draw other parts in the graph display area. To draw pictures such as lines directly within the display area, place the graph on base screen 9000 to 9999. If you draw scale lines within the graph display area on base screens 1 to 8999, the scale lines will not show on the display unit. To display a graph with scale lines on base screens 1 to 8999, load screen 9000 or higher.
On screen 9000 or higher, draw the graph and objects that overlay the graph. Other parts such as switches may not operate properly.
When using the graph area color with a graph with no shape on base screen 9000 or higher, drawing is done in the following order. As a result, if you draw on the graph display area, or you set the base screen's background color, these draw with a higher priority than the Graph Area Color.
Graph Area Color
Drawings such as Line or Rectangle, or Base screen background color
Graph
Graph will not be displayed when there is invalid data in either X-axis or Y-axis.
Since the calculation method of the coordinates of [Scale] and [Auxiliary Line] are different, the coordinate position may be different even if the values are same.
If there are multiple channels, when the clear bit for one channel is turned ON (store "2" in the control address), the graphs for all channels will be cleared.
When you display the graph again after clearing the bit (store "3" in the control address), the graph only displays the specified channels after all channels are cleared. If the same address is specified for multiple channels, only the channel for which a graph is displayed at last will be displayed. In order to display multiple channels at the same time, display each channel after clearing all channels.
When displaying multiple data block display graph or XY block display scatter graph on one displayed screen, do not duplicate each part's control address.
The display speed of graphs differs depending on the location of the [Control Word Address]. Whether you use a device/PLC address or use the read area (LS0020 or higher) of the display unit internal devices. The difference in display speed is same as the Data Block Display Graph. For more details, please refer to the following.
19.10.3 Data Block Display Graph Structure, When setting a device/PLC address
When [Display Range] is set to [Address] and a communication error occurs, drawing is done using a value of [0].
When the auxiliary line is set to [Address] and a communication error occurs, drawing is done using a value of [0].
When the display is updated, the graph display area is filled in with a clear color and then the graph is displayed again. Therefore the screen may flicker.
You cannot use symbol variables set up as an array in the graph display.
