There are two types of image fonts created by bitmap images.
All of the text is generated as a bitmap image.
Text displayed on a part is generated as an individual bitmap image. The generated bitmap image is saved in the screen area.
The following parts belong to this type.
Text
Switch/Lamp label
Key label
Selector List's Selector Function List
Message Display's Direct Input Message
Each character is generated as a bitmap image.
No matter how many characters are in the text displayed in a Part, a bitmap image is created for each character. The bitmap image is saved in the Font Area.
When the font area size is exceeded, the bitmap image is saved in the screen area.
The following parts belong to this type.
[Data Display]
[Alarm] messages
[Text Alarm] messages
Message Display's [Text Display] Messages
You can check the font area size from the [System Settings] - [Font] command.
For Text Display Parts and Input Display Parts, display text needs to be registered. Text in other parts are automatically registered and generated as bitmap images.
If the font name, size, or text style is different, it will be registered as a new bitmap image.
You cannot use a proportional font (font whose width changes for each character).
