From the [Tool] menu, select [Media information] to display the [Media information] dialog box. In the [Media information] dialog box, you can check the Camera-Viewer EX status and connection information.
Camera-Viewer EX file
Displays the location of the current Camera-Viewer EX file.
For example, C:\abc.CMVE
This field is empty when the connection has not been defined yet.
GP IP Address
Displays the IP address of the display unit connected to Camera-Viewer EX.
Connection
Displays the connection status between the display unit and Camera-Viewer EX. One of the following status messages will display.
Not in use
Connection is not established or connection is ended.
Normal Connection
Connection is established or being established.
Suspended
A communication error has occurred and the connection has been terminated.
Number of Frames Received
The number of video frames received by Camera-Viewer EX since the start of the image stream from the display unit's video camera.

GP Name [Model]
The GP name and model of the display unit connected to Camera-Viewer EX.
File in Recording
When recording video this field displays the name of the video file being saved.
This field is blank if video is not being recorded.
Previous File
Search for the video recorded before the current video file. If a video exists, plays the video file.
If the previous or next video does not play, check the video file name or folder structure.
Camera-Viewer EX identifies the next and previous video files from the current video file based on the file name and folder structure.

Current File
Displays the name and location of the current video file.
This field is blank if there is no playback video.
File Format
Version of the playback video.
"Play is supported. Seek is not supported. (Ver.1)"
Video file is recorded by a different application (SDX version 1.0).
"Camera-Viewer EX supported format. (Ver.2)"
Video file is recorded by Camera-Viewer EX (SDX version 2.0).
"File is corrupt or version is unsupported."

Terminology
Record Time
Displays the total recording time of the current video.
Next File
Searches for the next recorded video in the current folder. If there is no file in the current folder, continues searching the folder structure for the next video file. A warning message appears if the next video file does not exist.
If the previous or next video does not play, check the video file name or folder structure.
Camera-Viewer EX identifies the next and previous video files from the current video file based on the file name and folder structure.

Log
Displays a log of Camera-Viewer EX operations. For more details, see the following.
Clear
Deletes the operations listed in the log.
