When you use the Windows® task scheduler with the Camera-Viewer EX startup option, you can schedule recordings of video images from the display unit's video camera.

To run scheduled video
recordings without having to remain logged into the computer,
you need to set up the video recording with the [Log on as a batch
job] policy for the user.
From the [Local Security Settings] window, select [Local Policies],
and from the [User Right Assignment] list select the [Log on as
a batch job] policy.
To open the [Local Security Settings] window, from the [Control
Panel] double click first [Administrative Tools], and then [Local
Security Policy].

Procedure (Window XP)
The following setup procedure uses Windows XP.
From the [Control Panel] window, double-click [Scheduled Tasks].
After the [Scheduled Tasks] window opens, double-click [Add Scheduled Task].
In the [Scheduled Task Wizard] dialog box, click [Next].
Select [Camera-Viewer EX] and click
[Next].

Enter the name of the task, select
the time to perform the task and click [Next].

Depending on your selection, a detailed setting dialog box may appear to define a specific time for the scheduled recording.
Enter the name and password of the
user for the scheduled recording, and click [Next].

Select the [Open advanced properties
for this task when I click Finish] check box and click [Finish].

The [Task] property dialog box opens.
Enter "Camera-Viewer EX.exe" /Rec <Camera-Viewer EX settings
file> [[Options]..] and click [OK].
(For example: "Camera-Viewer Ex.exe" /Rec C:\Machine.CMVE
/OffTimer=60)

Startup Option Parameters
When the [Set Account Information]
dialog box appears, enter the user account and password required to
run the scheduled recording and then click [OK].

Procedure (Windows 7/Windows Vista)
From the [Control Panel] window, select [Administrative Tools] and double-click [Task Scheduler].

If the system prompts for an administrator password, enter the password.
If the system prompts for confirmation of running the program, click [Continue].
When the [Task Scheduler] window
appears, from the [Action] menu select [Create Basic Task...].

In the [Create Basic Task Wizard]
dialog box, enter the task name and click [Next].

Select the time to perform the scheduled
video recording, and click [Next].

Select the [Start a program] option
and click [Next].

Click [Browse], and in the startup
dialog box specify the location where Camera-Viewer EX was installed.
In the [Add arguments] field, enter /Rec <Camera-Viewer EX settings
file> [[Options]..].
(For example, /Rec C:\Data\Machine1.CMVE /OffTimer=60)

In the task properties dialog box,
select the [Run whether user is logged on or not] check box and click
[OK].

When the [Task Scheduler] dialog box appears, enter the user account and password required to run the scheduled recording and then click [OK].
