  • Install this driver in the following case only:
  • Customers, who have a PS-365xA Series with the built-in battery unit, use the Applicable Version as shown in the table below.
  • For this update on Windows® XP Embedded, set the Enhanced Write Filter (hereafter described as "EWF") to "Protect OFF", using EWFSettingTool. Then, restart your system.
  • Please do not install it in the device which does not incorporate an exclusive battery unit option.

Description This is a driver for PS365xA with the built-in battery unit. When the power failure occurs, system can perform power management function such as shutdown.
Updated Contents Ver. 1.03 (Apr. 9, 2009)
The following issues were corrected:
  • The error, "Battery is not connected.", is occasionally detected at OS boot.
  • After hibernation, the battery driver is occasionally stopped.
  • After the installation of the update, an operation different from the initial setting is performed.
The following function has been added:
  • Support for PS365xA-T42 series is added.

→ How to confirm your Software Revision

Installation (This file is self-extracting.)

  1. Click "BatteryUnit_01152009.exe" and download it to the appropriate folder.
  2. Double-click the downloaded file. (Any extraction destination will do.)
  3. When [OK] is clicked, the file is extracted. (If the same name file has already existed, it is overwritten.)
  4. Double-click the "BatteryUnit_01152009.exe" file that is extracted in Step 2 above to start the install.
  5. Complete the install by following the messages on the window.
  6. Restart the panel computer.

  • When the battery had run out during the shutdown processing due to the power failure, shutdown occurred at the next startup.

  • Icon displays were not updated in some cases.
