Description |
This
sample program was created with Visual
Basic 5 and controls the DOUT Port's
output using PL-X900 Series' RAS
function. Use this program as a sample
for operating the PL-X900 Series'
RAS API-DLL feature. To
use this sample program, you will
need to install Visual Basic 5. |

Extracting
(opening) the file (This is a self-expanding file.) |
1. |
Click
on the file name "X9VBDOUT.EXE" in
the box above to download data to the folder
you wish to use. |
2. |
After
the download is finished, double-click
on the "X9VBDOUT.EXE" file to
open it. |
3. |
The "PL-X900
DOUT Sample for VB5" dialog box will
appear. |
4. |
Click
on the "Reference" button, designate
the folder where you wish to save the expanded
file, and then click on the "OK" button. |
5. |
Confirm
that the folder for saving the expanded
file is correct, and click on the "PL-X900
DOUT Sample for VB5" dialog box's "OK" button. |
6. |
You
are now finished.

Installation |
1. |
If your PL unit has previously
installed drivers and utilities (if the "Proface" folder
can be seen), use the "Add/Remove Programs" feature
to delete them. If none of these programs
are installed, skip to step 2). |
2. |
Double-click on "Setup.exe" and
follow the instructions given installing
the files and exchanging the program disks. |
3. |
Restart your PL unit when the
restart message appears. |
