This is the newest version (Ver. 2.0.2.8/2.0.0.19) of the driver for the USB Data Transfer Cable (GPW-CB03).
Please use it for loss of CD-ROM or use at the outside.
 
Note:
- Please use the USB Data Transfer Cable (GPW-CB03) in the following environment.
- Reconnect the cable or reboot the PC if USB Data Transfer Cable doesn't work or data is not transferred.

Update Description The following issues were corrected:

When the PC with the high-speed processing CPU (e.g. Core™Duo and Core™2 Duo) is used, the following symptoms occur on rare occasions.

  • After the sequence is moved to the re-send sequence, the error screen is displayed.
    (Even when the re-send button is pressed, an error screen is displayed at high rates. Or, GP-PRO/PBIII is forcibly shutdown.)
  • GP-PRO/PBIII is shutdown suddenly.
Installation Procedure (This file is self-extracting.)
Prior to installation, be sure to close all software applications that are running.
1. Click on the link "GPW-CB03v2028.exe" in the box above to download the file to the desired folder.
2. After the download is finished, double-click on the "GPW-CB03v2028.exe" file to open it.
3. Designate the extract directory, and then click OK.
4. The driver will be saved in the "GPW-CB03" folder created in the designated directory.
5. If an old version of the driver is installed, be sure to uninstall it before installing the new version. The uninstallation method is as follows.
 
1. Double-click "DRemover98_2K.exe" in the "GPW-CB03" folder.
2. Uninstallation is carried out when you click the OK button.
3. A dialogue to recomend rebooting is displayed.
Click the OK button and then carry out the reboot.

6. After extracting, please connect USB screen transfer cable to USB port.
7. After "Found New Hardware Wizard" is displayed, follow the installer's instructions to complete installation.
(please choose "GPW-CB03" folder created in the procedure No.4)

8. After installation is completed, confirm version using the following procedures.
 
1. Click the right button of "My Computer" and choose "property".
2. Choose the tab "Hardware" and click "Device Manager".
3. Double-click "Port" and click the right button "Pro-face GPW-CB03" and choose "property".

Double-click "Driver" and confirm that the version is changed to "Ver. 2.0.2.8(XP/2000)","Ver. 2.0.0.19(Me/98)".

Note: Reconnect the cable or reboot the PC if USB Data Transfer Cable doesn't work or data is not transferred.
