Thank you very much for your continuous use of Pro-face products.

For those who use Win GP or/and Pro-face Remote HMI Server in operating environments including Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry other than Pro-face IPC, We will report it as described below.

Pro-face software’s license recognition system is not compatible with Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry. We’d like you to consider using Pro-face IPC if you have used or plan to use Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry.

If you use Pro-face IPC, it can be recognized by Pro-face’s own license feature, so Win GP and Pro-face Remote HMI Server can be used with no problem.

Pro-face software has adopted Sentinel System USB Driver V7.5.8 as a license recognition system.
And "Sentinel System USB Driver V7.5.8" is not compatible with some Windows Operation Systems, so Pro-face software may not be used.

Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry is one of the Windows Operation Systems incompatible with Sentinel System USB Driver V7.5.8.
If you plan to use Pro-face software on Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry, please consider adopting Pro-face IPC instead.
