| Problem |
| If alarm messages on the screen of GP-PRO/PB
III for Windows Ver. 5.05 are not displayed when "a tag" or "Alarm
Summary Part" are set,
it is possible that the GP unit is locked. The frequency of this
occurrence is low. In addition, this problem is found in only
Ver. 5.05. The other versions have no problem. |

| The unit's system version can be checked in the
following way. Depending on the system, however, it is possible that peripheral
equipment could be influenced by the version check while
the system is
working. Before checking the version, please make sure peripheral
equipment is not influenced by the version check, even if the unit
is reset or restarted. If you do not know whether peripheral equipment will be affected, the version check should be done after shutting down the system. |

Enter the offline mode,
select "Initial Setting" from
the main menu. |

Select "set the system environment". |
| 3. |
Select "set the system". |
| 4. |
Select "start time [second]" and
set 5 seconds. |

Back to "main menu" and select "operation",
or turn ON
or OFF the power supply to the GP unit. |

The GP unit is reset, and the system starts in 5 seconds. During these 5 seconds, the system version is displayed in the bottom right of the screen. |
