Expanded 256-color object drawings and graphic images allow you to create realistic, functional interfaces for easy-to-understand, thus safty operation.
* Changing the "Colors" setting to "256 colors" will disable the blink feature on all of your project's screens. If you wish to use the blink feature, do not change this setting to "256 colors".

Video display

VM (video mix) functions

Connect up to four CCD cameras or PC video (VGA/SVGA), to monitor remote areas. PC monitor and GP screen output to an external display are, also, available.

Expanded backup storage capacity on the GP unit makes it possible to store larger volumes of logging and filing (recipe) data. This improves both history log management (daily and monthly reports) and quality management.

* The"255 Words (Economy Mode)" can only be used with the "Loop" feature. Also, in this mode the "Write to LS Area" feature is disabled. Therefore, if your system requires the "Write to LS Area" feature, do not use the "255 Words”" feature.

Pre-set IP address

All GP2000 (GLC2400) series units have a pre-set (previously allocated) IP address. IP address setup time for Initial screen data downloading, especially to multiple units, and installation of closed network applications can be saved.

Expanded network connection

PLC Ethernet and Fieldbus drivers are now supported for use with Pro-Server's 2-way communication.

D-script address batch conversion

This function saves the trouble of manually changing D-script addresses, converting all corresponding addresses automatically.

Right-click edit menu

Handy for drawing and other screen editing tasks. A number of new right-click menu icons have been added to make editing faster and easier.
