	Dual Disk Drive Slots
	The PL's two HDD slots offer greater protection from HDD breakdowns. An additional HDD or CF Card Unit can be attached in just minutes, to help back up your important programs and data.
	Disk Applications
	Example 1 Hard Disk Drive Unit Placing your OS and applications on separate drives will increase your data access efficiency, provide more space and extend your main drive's lifetime. Primary HDD (OS) + Secondary HDD (Applications)
	Example 2 CF Card Unit Important data can be saved on to a driveless CF Card, which allows easy data exchange with other PCs and PLS, and easy replacement of the CF Card. Primary HDD (OS, Applications) + CF Card (Backup data)

	Software Mirroring Utility
	Real-time mirroring is done using two HDD Units installed on the PL. When an HDD malfunction is detected, the errored unit is disconnected from the system and the normal unit continues to operate independently. (Supported OS: WindowsNT®, Windows®2000)

	RAS Feature is Standard
	Each PL is equipped with the RAS (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability) feature and System Monitor Software. This feature supports TPM (Total Production Maintenance) and immediately detects problem causes, helping to prevent them from affecting your system. RAS Feature (System example)
	The RAS status of each PL-X920 unit can be monitored via an Ethernet network. (Available in November, 2001)

	Shock Absorbing Hard Disk Drive
	The PL's HDD unit is specially designed to absorb the shocks and vibration associated with industrial applications.

	Other Features
	- High Performance Pentium(R) III 1GHz/700MHz CPU - Windows(R) XP supported. - Standard USB and Ethernet (10Base-T/100Base-TX autochangeover) interfaces - Supporting ISA Bus. - The "Remote Shut Down" feature allows you to shut down your all PL units from your PC simultaneously. The "restarting" and "logging off" operation are also available.
