Notice of Head Office Relocation

Brief
On Monday, June 30, 2014, to improve business efficiency, Digital Electronics Corporation (President and Representative Director: Yoshihiko Yasumura; location: Nanko Higashi, Suminoe-ku, Osaka; hereinafter "Digital") will relocate its head office. The new head office will be in the Schneider Electric Osaka Building (10 floors above ground, 1 floor below ground, approximately 12,000 square meters of floor space in total) located at 4-4-9 Kitahama, Chuo-ku, Osaka. This move will bring together locations that were in Suminoe-ku and Izumi City in Osaka Prefecture.
The aim of this relocation is to improve business efficiency by increasing decision making speed, improving the level of service that we provide, and facilitating business continuity planning. Schneider Electric (President and Representative Director: Serge Goldenberg; location: Minato-ku, Tokyo), global specialists in energy management who entered into a capital alliance with Digital in 2002, will also move their Osaka office, currently located in Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka to the same building.
The entire building will be treated as a showroom for Schneider Electric equipment and applications. The goal is to help people understand how Schneider Electric’s advanced technology and improved energy efficiency can reduce our impact on the environment. The building is equipped with various systems, power receiving and distribution devices, and electronic devices such as central monitoring, automatic control, security cameras, access control, and electric power monitoring from Schneider Electric. Additionally, Digital’s Pro-face brand interface terminals are used for the parking garage, internal phone lines, and lighting and audio control. The first floor of the building has a live showroom featuring Schneider Electric and Pro-face products, allowing visitors to see equipment and devices in operation.
