*Please Read
1)Display Device / Color

GP-477R is the high brightness display, on the other hand, GP3500T display is TFT color LCD.

Therefore, display changes from EL amber color to color. Please confirm color setting after data transformation.

2)Display Resolution

The display resolution is different in GP3500T and GP477R..
GP-3500's screen area expands 40 dots up and down.
Therefore, there is blank space at the top and bottom. It is necessary to have an editing by GP-Pro EX when creating on a full screen.

3)Touch Panel Specifications

It is "Analog form " in GP3500T.
In "Analog form", It doesn't recognized as the touch input when you touch two points at the same time. Therefore, please do not push two points at the same time.
If you used two points input with GP-477R, we will encourage to change to one point input in the application by using switch delay function.
4) The COM1 and COM2 of Serial Interface

In GP-3500T, the COM1 is the D-Sub 9 pins male connector, the COM2 is the D-Sub 9 pins female.
In GP-477R, the COM1 was the D-Sub 25 pins female connector, the COM2 was the D-Sub 9 pins male connector. The pin array and the shape of male/female connector is different to GP-3500T.
Therefore, when you connected with PLC cable, you have to be careful to connect it. Please refer to here for the interchangeability of the PLC connection.

5)Printer connection

GP3500T is not equipped with Centronics (parallel) interface for the printer, but GP-477R is. Therefore, please note that past printer cannot be used.

6)Bar-code reader connection

GP-3500T does not equip with the tool port. Therefore, the bar-cord reader that connected from GP-477R tool port cannot be used. However, the bar-code reader can be connected from the USB interface and the serial interface in GP-3500T.

7)The AUX Output

The AUX (external output) connector shape is different in GP-477RE and GP3500T. Therefore, Please note the wiring for the AUX interface when you replace it.

8)Transfer Screen Date

GP-3500T uses USB or Ethernet to transmit the screen data. The cable must use the special transfer cable (The model: CA3-USBCB-01) for the GP3000 series. Please note that the commercial USB cable cannot be used.
Although the transfer screen data used the tool port in GP-477R, the transfer cable (*1) for GP477R is different from GP-3500T.
The Ethernet transfer can be used as well as before.

*1 GP-477R Transfer cable model: GPW-CB02,GPW-CB03,GP430-CU02-M, etc...

9)Power Supply

In GP-3500T, there are two kinds power supply, the AC type and the DC type.
The AC type's Terminal Block is the same as GP-477R.
The DC type's power supply of GP-3500T is a screw lock terminal block. Therefore, please note that the power cable changes when replacing it from GP-477R.

10)Power Consumption

The power consumption is different in GP-3500T and GP-477R.
Please confirm the power supply capacity that is supplied to the main body.

11)Body material

The body material of GP-3500T is an aluminum die cast. GP-477R is a resin type. Therefore, please note that the material characteristic and the color are also different.

12)Expansion Unit

GP-3500T doesn't correspond to various expansion units. Therefore, please note that expansion unit (*2) used with GP-477R cannot be used.

*2 CC-LINK unit, Various communication units and VM units etc..
