| 1)Touch Panel Specifications |
It is "Analog form " in GP3600.
In "Analog form", It doesn't recognized as the touch input when you touch two points at the same time. Therefore, please do not push two points at the same time.
If you used two points input with GP-2600, we will encourage to change to one pint input in the application by using switch delay function.

| 2) The COM1 and COM2 of Serial Interface |
In GP-3600, the COM1 is the D-Sub 9 pins male connector, the COM2 is the D-Sub 9 pins female.
In GP-2600, the COM1 was the D-Sub 25 pins female connector, the COM2 was the D-Sub 9 pins male connector. The pin array and the shape of male/female connector is different to GP-3600.
Therefore, when you connected with PLC cable, you have to be careful to connect it. Please refer to here for the interchangeability of the PLC connection.

| 3)Printer connection |
GP-3600 does not equip the centronics (parallel) interface for the printer.
When you used the printer that was connected by the centronics interface with GP-2600, you need to have the conversion machine that converts USB of GP-3600 into centronics.

| 4)Bar-code reader connection |
GP-3600 does not equip with the tool port. Therefore, the bar-cord reader that connected from GP-2600 tool port cannot be used. However, the bar-code reader can be connected from the USB interface and the serial interface in GP-3600.

| 5)The AUX Output |
GP-3600 is equipped AUX (external output), but the AUX (external output) connector shape is different from GP-2600.Please note the wiring for the AUX interface when you replace it.

| 6)Sound Line Out Output |
GP-3600 doesn't provide the Line Out output function. When you connected the Line Out output from AUX interface to amplifier in GP-2600, you need to replace the Line Out to the speaker with built-in amplifier by using the speaker output.

| 7)Transfer Screen Date |
GP-3600 uses USB or Ethernet to transmit the screen data. The cable must use the special transfer cable (The model: CA3-USBCB-01) for the GP3000 series. Please note that the commercial USB cable cannot be used.
Although the transfer screen data used the tool port in GP-2600, the transfer cable (*1) for GP2000 series is different from GP-3600.
The Ethernet transfer can be used as well as before.

| 8)Power Supply |
In GP-3600, there are two kinds power supply, the AC type and the DC type.
The AC type's Terminal Block is the same as GP-2600. The DC type's power supply of GP-3600 is a screw lock terminal block. Therefore, the power cable changes when replacing it from GP-2600.

| 9)Power Consumption |
Only as for the AC type, the power consumption of GP-3600 and GP-2600 is different. Please confirm the power supply capacity that is supplied to the main body.

| 10)Body material |
The body material of GP-3600 is an aluminum die cast. GP-2600 is a resin type. Therefore, please note that the material characteristic and the color are also different.

| 11)Expansion Unit |
GP-3600 doesn't correspond to various expansion units except the Profibus unit. Therefore, please note that expansion unit (*2) used with GP-2600 cannot be used.
*2 CC-LINK unit, Various communication units and VM units etc...

| 12)Front Maintenance Unit |
Front maintenance unit (GP077-CFFM10) for GP-2600 cannot be used with GP-3600. Please use the CF card with the standard equipment CF card interface in main body.
