1 )Touch Panel Specifications

It is "Analog form " in GP3300L.
In "Analog form", It doesn't recognized as the touch input when you touch two points at the same time. Therefore, please do not push two points at the same time.
If you used two points input with GP-2300L, we will encourage to change to one point input in the application by using switch delay function.

2)The COM1 and COM2 of Serial Interface

In GP-3300L, the COM1 is the D-Sub 9 pins male connector, the COM2 is the D-Sub 9 pins female.
In GP-2300L, the COM1 was the D-Sub 25 pins female connector, the COM2 was the D-Sub 9 pins male connector. The pin array and the shape of male/female connector is different to GP-3300T.
Therefore, when you connected with PLC cable, you have to be careful to connect it. Please refer to here for the interchangeability of the PLC connection.

3)Printer connection

GP-3300L does not equip the centronics (parallel) interface for the printer.
When you used the printer that was connected by the centronics interface with GP-2300L, you need to have the conversion machine that converts USB of GP-3300T into centronics.

4)Bar-code reader connection

GP-3300L does not equip with the tool port. Therefore, the bar-cord reader that connected from GP-2300L tool port cannot be used. However, the bar-code reader can be connected from the USB interface or the serial interface in GP-3300L.

5)Transfer Screen Date

GP-3300L uses USB or Ethernet to transmit the screen data. The cable must use the special transfer cable (The model: CA3-USBCB-01) for the GP3000 series. Please note that the commercial USB cable cannot be used.
Although the transfer screen data used the tool port in GP-2300L, the transfer cable (*1) for GP2000 series is different from GP-3300L.
The Ethernet transfer can be used as well as before.

*1 GP-2300T Transfer cable model: GPW-CB02,GPW-CB03,GP430-CU02-M, etc...

6)Power Supply

The power supply of the DC type is a screw lock terminal block in GP-3300L, but the power supply of GP-2300L is terminal block. Therefore, please note that the GP-2300L power cable cannot be used it when you replaces to GP-3300L.

7)Expansion Unit

GP-3300series doesn't correspond to various expansion units.(*2) .

*2 We prepare Profi-bus unit (model:CA5-PFSALL/EX-01) for GP3300 series. The other field bus unit is under developing now.
