Errors related with Communication Port

SIO Error

[Description]
The COM pot couldn't be opened. The COM port cannot be used.

[Check]

Please confirm that the port selected in [Communication Port] corresponds to the serial port connected to the transfer cable.
-> Details

Communication Port is invalid.

[Description]
The COM port cannot be used.
The COM port is used for another application.

[Check]

-	Please confirm that the port selected in [Communication Port] corresponds to the serial port connected to the transfer cable.-> Details
-	It is also appears when the application using the COM port is operating or when the DOS?window is kept open after the application using the COM port operates in the DOS window.

Data Transfer Port Initialization Error

[Description]

Initialization of the communication pot has failed. Check the transfer serial port settings.

[Check]

-	Please confirm that the port selected in [Communication Port] corresponds to the serial port connected to the transfer cable.-> Details
-	Check the transfer cable connection. Confirm that the cable is firmly connected to the tool connector on the GP side and to the serial port on the PC side
-	In case that a conversion connector is used because the PC in use is NECPC 9801 Notebook and the serial port has 14 half pitch, wiring may not be correct.

How to confirm Communication Port

From the menu bar of [Transfer], select [Setup] -> [Transfer Settings]. Confirm the [Communication Port] settings.
