Wish to set a variable to the input value in the TOP instruction and write a designated value to the variable. How can I do so?
When inputting the variable in the TON instruction, the name of variable would be [Variable name. PT]. It is possible by inputting the [Variable name. PT] in the MOV instruction.

By dragging the variable allocated on the Timer and dropping it on the OUT side of the MOV instruction, the selection menu as shown on the left appears.

Then, select [Variable name. PT] (PT is the preset value, ET is present value).

By setting up as shown on the left picture, the Timer’s preset value will be 5000ms when turning ON the switch “a”, and it will be 1000ms when turning ON the switch “b”.

When the both switch turn ON, the preset value will be 10000 because the lower rung will be valid in that case.
