 Setting example of the DOWN Counter

Create a Counter that passes power when it has received the preset numbers of the Pulse Input.


1. Place a DOWN Counter on the Logic Program.
A. Place a switch to reset when the current value of the counter has reached zero or less. Also, place the Coil that the counter reset bit is allocated to, ahead of the switch.  
B. Place the Output that turns ON when the current value has reached zero or less.
   
2.Place the Keypad Display that input the preset value of the counter on the screen.

From the pull-down menu beside the Word Address, select the “variable name.PT” that has been allocated in the counter.

   
3.Place the reset switch on the screen.
From the pull-down menu beside the Bit Address, select the variable that is same as the one allocated on the Normally Open. (This Normally Open has been placed in front of  the Coil that the counter reset bit has been allocated to.)
