Restrictions on Video Module Features
On the AGP-3500T, AGP-3510T, AGP-3550T, and AGP-3560T, you can install either the SGMU Extended Unit or VM Unit, but not both.
When the Video Module is installed, the display colors are reduced to 32K colors.
The Video Module display cannot be placed on a window.
However, only one Video Module display can be displayed on the display unit screen. Multiple Video Module displays can be placed on a Base Screen.
Only JPEG images up to 1024 X 768 pixels can be displayed on the VM unit.
The Video Module can display a JPEG image up to 1024 X 768. If the JPEG image is larger than this, then the image is reduced to 1024 X 768 or to the display size specified of either 1/4, 1/16, or 1/64. In the "Image Unit Window", for SVGA, VGA, and XGA models, display sizes up to 800 × 600, 640 × 480, and 1024 × 768, respectively, can be displayed. If the image size exceeds the screen size, only part of the image that fits on the screen can be displayed.
Even when calling the Image Unit Window set with transparency settings on the Picture Display in which clearing actions are set, the transparency may not work.
When the color code is set at 00 - 07, this phenomenon will not occur.
When using an Image Unit Display set to [Always on Top], do not simultaneously display an Edit Screen on the CSV Display. The Cancel button on the CSV Display's Edit Screen may be hidden by the Image Unit Display window.
The Image Unit Display Window of a project file set to [VM Unit (3000)] under [System Settings]-[Image Unit] cannot be copied to a project file set to [VM Unit (2000)].
The Display Position of a VM unit for the GP3000 Series is set in units of four pixels. When the Display Position cannot be divided by four, it will be displayed using a value divisible by four.
Saving JPEGs
Only one video signal channel can be used for saving JPEG.
While taking a capture, processing of parts and video display are stopped.
It takes approximately three to five seconds to take a capture.
When acquiring display data
After the data acquisition processing is complete, the screen is turned OFF. A file will not be created on the CF Card.
When saving to a CF Card
After saving is complete, the screen is turned OFF. A file is created on the CF Card.
Performing a screen capture while displaying a DVI Window will not obtain the displayed screen. Obtain a screen capture after hiding the DVI Window.
When a capture is performed without input signals, a Blue Back Image XGA (1024 X 768) in size will be saved.
