Do not turn off the power or remove the CF Card or USB memory during the save operation to the CF Card or USB Storage. Data may not be saved normally.
If the file size is greater than the remaining capacity in the CF Card or USB Storage, the file cannot be saved.
The operation log recorded in SRAM during Project Transfer is saved in the CF Card or USB Storage.
However, if the CF Card or USB Storage cannot be found on the display unit or there is not enough capacity remaining, the operation log data is deleted. When the project is transferred using the offline mode's project file screen transfer, the operation log is not saved in the CF Card or USB Storage.
The operation log is saved after first saving to memory. When there is no external storage, the save process continues retrying until external storage is attached, at which time the save process is cleared. However, operation logs saved to memory will be cleared if the power is reset or there is a request for a new operation log.
When you add data to the existing CSV file, up to 10000 instances of data can be added to the newest operation log file. When the total number of the data of the existing file and the added file exceeds 10,000 instances, create a new CSV file instead of adding data.
The operation log does not record the action of simulation.
The operation log does not record data when the project is transferred from the offline mode's screen transfer.
Even if the execution condition of the operation log is set to "When Bit is ON", when the capacity of SRAM is filled up, data is automatically output to the CF Card or USB Storage as a CSV file.
Using GP-Viewer EX, a log recording remote operations cannot be saved.
The IPC Series do not have Backup SRAM. Therefore, the History Data is backed up periodically. Backup is performed in the designated frequency or trigger, so the operation log after the last backup is not saved if the power is turned off before backup. Recording of the operation log will be restarted after recovery.
Refer to the following for saving History Data in the IPC Series.38.10.1.2 IPC Settings - Historical Data Retentive Settings
When [Append value to log] is selected in [Operation Log], the capacity of operation log to be saved increases. If you want to decrease the SRAM capacity, lower the number of SRAM records in [Operation Log].
To check the capacity of the operation log data saved in SRAM, go to the [Project (F)] menu, point to [Information (I)], select [Project Information (I)], and then select [SRAM Information].
